We’re Leo and Nel, a husband-and-wife team who have spent more than two decades working inside the fine jewelry industry. Long before Leonids existed, we were designing, engineering, and producing jewelry for established brands across the US, Europe, and Asia. Our days were spent in workshops, not showrooms, learning how jewelry behaves once it leaves the display case and becomes part of someone’s life.

Over the years, we worked with exceptional diamonds, refined our approach to structure and setting, and learned what truly separates lasting jewelry from pieces that only look good at first glance. What stayed with us was not just how jewelry should look, but how it should wear, feel, and endure.

As our experience grew, so did our understanding of the industry behind it. We saw how pricing often drifted away from material value, how production layers added cost without improving quality, and how sourcing lacked transparency. We believed there was a more honest way to bring fine jewelry to people, one rooted in craftsmanship rather than convention.

Leonids was created to bring that workshop-level expertise directly to our own name. By working with lab-grown diamonds and carefully selected precious metals, we’re able to focus on quality, consistency, and long-term wear while maintaining clarity around how our jewelry is made and why it’s priced the way it is.

The name Leonids is inspired by the Leonid meteor shower, known for its rare and fleeting brilliance. Like the phenomenon itself, our jewelry is designed to feel special without being distant — refined, considered, and meant to be worn, not preserved.
